Day 4: Working on the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities

Today, we had the opportunity to meet our learning buddy during the "morning reflexion"! This person will help us reflect on our achievements during the activities of this PBA. It was a nice sharing 10-minutes session and we are looking forward to the next days!

Afterwards, we started our journey along the 8 beautiful "key competences islands", unfortunately surrounded by scary sharks! It was an opportunity to work deeper on the meaning of the competences. Each one of these "islands" had challenges (learning words in other languages, solving a tangram puzzle, making calculations on a spreadsheet, writing a poem, developing artistic skills...) Each one of us became expert on one specific competence and let the others know what this competence implied, and its relation to EVS projects.

Here is a nice poem from our favourite Sicilian guy Vincenzo!

Vijlandi, Estonia
Brought us Euphoria,
Lot of grass, all green
We're happy, have you seen?
Between good friends and tasty food,
There are amazing people, no one is rude.
Even if at midnight there still light
To be here, we're delight!
Here are happening things funny
Just miss a Big Pink Bunny!

In the afternoon, we worked on the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. The participants were splited into 4 groups and reflected on how to tackle the obstacles that young people with less opportunities face every day (social, cultural, economic, disability...)

To close the day, the group had been given the chance to suggest topics on which they had experience. Billy, Heleri, Vincenzo and Ufuk were our experts and each one led a 20-minute session on team-building activities without resources, EVS project coordinating experience with Africa and Asia, pre-departure training and ADR in conflict resolution.

The day ended with an intercultural night presented by Georgia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Armenia and Poland.
